Spicy-sweet pickled tomatoes – recipe
We cook tomatoes for the winter in a spicy-sweet marinade.
Tomatoes according to this recipe are spicy in a sweet marinade. They are especially loved by hot men.:smile:
Ingredients for spicy-sweet pickled tomatoes in 4 one-liter jars
- Garlic – 8 cloves
- sugar – 4 tbsp. l.; l.
- salt – 2 tbsp. l.; l.
- vinegar 9% – 8 tbsp. l.; l.
- tomatoes 2 kg
- chili pepper – 4 pcs.

Preparation of spicy-sweet pickled tomatoes
Wash and dry tomatoes and fresh hot peppers.
Prepare the jars. Wash the jars with soda and sterilize in a way convenient for you.
In each jar put bay leaf, cloves, black and allspice peas, 2 cloves of garlic. Dill gives a very strong aroma, so if there is, add it too.
Put the tomatoes tightly in jars, adding 1 pod of hot pepper.
Boil water, pour tomatoes for 15 minutes, covering with boiled lids.
Drain the water from the tomatoes back into the pan and prepare the marinade – add 4 tbsp to 1 liter of water. tablespoons of sugar and 2 tbsp. l. tablespoons of coarse salt. Boil.
Add 2 tbsp to each liter jar of tomatoes. l. vinegar. Pour boiling marinade over the tomatoes and roll up. Turn over, wrap and leave to cool completely.
Spicy-sweet pickled tomatoes are ready. Tasty!!!
