Stuffed green tomatoes according to this recipe are very tasty. Spicy, sweet and sour tomatoes are perfect as an appetizer for various dishes.
Ingredients for stuffed green tomatoes
- green tomatoes 1.5-2 kg
- garlic 2 medium heads
- carrots 1 medium (70 g)
- dill seeds, parsley, cloves, allspice and black peppercorns, chili peppers
- vinegar 125 ml
- salt 50 g
- sugar – 100 g

Preparation of stuffed green tomatoes
At the bottom of clean cans ( 1.5 l) we spread 3 pcs. carnations, 5 pcs. allspice, 6-7 pcs. black pepper, dill seeds 0.5 tsp, a couple of sprigs of parsley, chili pepper.
Cut the carrots into rings, cut the garlic (each clove) into 4 parts.
Cut the tomatoes in half by 2/3 and insert a piece of carrot and a piece of garlic into the cut. Fold tightly in a jar.
Pour boiled water over the lids, boil for 5 minutes. Pour freshly boiled water into jars and leave for 30-40 minutes.
Next, the water needs to be drained, boiled again, poured into jars and left again for 30-40 minutes.
Water must be drained from the cans into a saucepan, put on fire, add salt, sugar, vinegar. Bring the marinade to a boil and pour into jars of tomatoes. Roll up, turn over, wrap until completely cooled.
