Ingredients for stuffed peppers with cabbage for the winter

  • Sweet bell pepper (small) – 1 kg;
  • cabbage – 1 pc;
  • carrots – 1-2 pcs;
  • garlic, honey

For the marinade:

  • water – 1 l;
  • vinegar – 150 ml;
  • sugar – 200 g;
  • vegetable oil – 100 ml;
  • salt – 2 tbsp.

Cooking stuffed peppers with cabbage for the winter

Peel the pepper, cut out the stalks with seeds, rinse thoroughly with water. Pour boiling water over the pepper (to make it soft) and cover, leave for 20 minutes.

Peel the carrots and rinse with water, grate.

Wash the cabbage, remove bad leaves, finely chop, add carrots, salt, remember to become soft.

Stuff the pepper: put 2 pastes of garlic and honey on the tip of a knife on the bottom of the pepper, stuff with cabbage very tightly.

Now you need to prepare a marinade for stuffed peppers: add salt, sugar, table vinegar and vegetable oil to the water. Bring the marinade to a boil.

Put the stuffed peppers in hot sterilized jars, pour hot marinade and sterilize for 10 – 15 minutes. Roll up the lids.

Stuffed peppers with cabbage for the winter are ready.
