Making blackcurrant jam
Blackcurrants need to be sorted out, tear off the berries from the twigs.
Sorted black currants need to be washed, filtered so that all the water is glass.
Re-blender clean and dry currants or grind in a meat grinder.
Add sugar. Stir blackcurrant with sugar until sugar is completely dissolved.
Pour jam into sterile jars and close with sterile nylon lids. It is imperative to sterilize the jars so that the currants stand longer and do not mold.
Also, such jam can be frozen – it is stored even longer.
Tasty!!!!
