Pear particle jam – recipe

We prepare delicious pear jam for the winter.

Kvitkainfo.com offers to prepare pear jam in particles for the winter, which will be an excellent filling for homemade cakes, or a decoration for ready-made pastries or desserts. According to this recipe, pears are very tasty, juicy and do not fall apart.

Ingredients for pear jam in particles

  • 1 kg of pears,
  • 1 kg of sugar.
  • 0.5 h – citric acid per 2 liters of water

Making pear jam with particles

Hard pears need to be peeled and cut into 4 parts, cutting out the middle with a knife.

The centers need to be boiled in a small amount of water. Strain, add sugar and boil the syrup. Pour boiling syrup over pear particles and let cool.

Then, bring the pears to a boil, add citric acid(citric acid can be replaced with cinnamon or lemon…) and cook over low heat, until the pears are transparent.

As soon as the pear slices become transparent, remove the jam from the heat, put it in hot sterile jars, roll it up.

That’s it, pear jam is ready.
