Cooking cherry – strawberry jam
Wash the berries and peel them from the seeds and stalks.
Next, cherries and strawberries need to be passed through a meat grinder or blender. Pour the cherry-strawberry mass into an enamel bowl, add sugar.
Put the dishes on a small fire and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Cook for 15 minutes, remove from heat and leave to cool completely. Repeat the procedure twice more.
During the third boil, you need to add citric acid, bring to a boil. Pour hot cherry and strawberry jam into hot sterilized jars.
Roll up the jars with lids, turn upside down, wrap in a blanket and leave to cool completely.
