Ingredients for adjika from plums and tomato paste

  • Hard plum (“Hungarian”) – 1 kg
  • tomato paste – 0.5 l
  • bell pepper – 1 kg
  • chili pepper (to taste – 3-6 pieces) – 4 pcs
  • garlic – 1-2 heads
  • sugar – 1 stack.
  • salt 2 tbsp. l. l.
  • vinegar – ( 70%) – 1 tsp, or 1 glass – 9%

Cooking adjika from plums and tomato paste

Plums and peppers need to be washed, pitted, ground in a blender.

Garlic needs to be peeled, washed, dried. Wash the chili peppers, cut off the stalk, leaving the seeds. Grind.

For spicy adjika from plums , take the full amount of chili pepper and garlic, and if you want more tender adjika, take half.

Pour all the ingredients into a saucepan, add tomato paste, sugar, salt, vinegar. Cook after boiling over low heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Pour the finished hot adjika from plums and tomato paste into sterilized hot jars, roll up the lids, turn over, wrap and leave to cool completely.
