Scindapsus is a very popular plant among beginner flower growers, because it does not require special care and special growing conditions. \n<\/p><p>This vine with aerial roots can grow in the darkest corner of your apartment, as well as in artificial lighting. Scindapsus does not tolerate sudden changes in temperature and drafts. <\/p><figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"426\" src=\"https:\/\/kvitkainfo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/scindapsus_aureus_marble_queen.jpg\" alt=\"scindapsus_aureus_marble_queen\" class=\"wp-image-947\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kvitkainfo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/scindapsus_aureus_marble_queen.jpg 600w, https:\/\/kvitkainfo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/scindapsus_aureus_marble_queen-300x213.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Watering and air humidity for scindapsus<\/h3><p>Scindapsus should be watered moderately so that the topsoil has time to dry out before the next watering. And in winter, when the air temperature is minimal (+12\u00b0C), watering is reduced (1 time in 7 days). Over time, the plant loses its decorative appearance, the lower part of the stem is completely exfoliated, in which case the plant is rejuvenated by pruning. All cut parts are used for reproduction.    <\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Scindapsus transplant<\/h3><p>Young plants (up to 3 years old) <a href=\"https:\/\/kvitkainfo.com\/romnoj\/peresadka-roslin.html\">are transplanted<\/a> by transshipment annually, adult plants do not need frequent transplanting(1 time in 4 years), if it is not possible to transplant, replace the topsoil with a new one.  <\/p><figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" src=\"https:\/\/kvitkainfo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/scindapsus_rozmnozhennya.jpg\" alt=\"scindapsus_rozmnozhennya\" class=\"wp-image-949\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kvitkainfo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/scindapsus_rozmnozhennya.jpg 500w, https:\/\/kvitkainfo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/scindapsus_rozmnozhennya-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/figure><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reproduction of scindapsus<\/h3><p>Scindapsus propagates <a href=\"https:\/\/kvitkainfo.com\/romnoj\/vegetativne-rozmnozhennya-rozmnozhennya-roslin-zhivcyami.html\">by cuttings<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/kvitkainfo.com\/romnoj\/vegetativne-rozmnozhennya-rozmnozhennya-roslin-vidvodami.html\">layering<\/a>.<\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pests and diseases<\/h3><p>Scindapsus can be attacked by: <a href=\"https:\/\/kvitkainfo.com\/shkidniki-ta-hvorobi\/szitivka-prichini-poyavi-metodi-borotbi.html\">scale insects<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/kvitkainfo.com\/shkidniki-ta-hvorobi\/pavutinnii-klisz_-prichini-poyavi_-metodi-borotbi.html\">spider mites<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/kvitkainfo.com\/shkidniki-ta-hvorobi\/tlya_-prichini-poyavi_-metodi-borotbi.html\">aphids<\/a>.<\/p><p>Diseases appear with <a href=\"https:\/\/kvitkainfo.com\/en\/uncategorized\/signs-of-improper-care-of-indoor-plants.html\">improper care<\/a>.<\/p><p><u>The leaves turn yellow and fall off, the roots rot<\/u> &#8211; overflow.
