The leaves of alocasia are elongated heart-shaped, pointed at the tips, the color of the leaf is dark green with white veins. \n<\/p><p><strong>Alocasia blooms<\/strong>, flowers are inexpressive, white, collected in inflorescences. But it is impossible to achieve flowering when grown indoors.   <\/p><p>Attention! Alocasia is a poisonous plant, use gloves when transplanting.   <\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Types of alocasia<\/h3><p>Most often, the following types of alocasia are sold in stores:<\/p><p><em>Alocasia sanderiana<\/em> &#8211; white heart-shaped leaves are pointed at the corners, the leaves are metallic green in color, serrated at the edges.<\/p><p><em>Alocasia amazonika<\/em> &#8211; dark green leaves with bright white veins.  <\/p><figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/kvitkainfo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/kvyti_alokazii.jpg\" alt=\"kvyti_alokazii\" class=\"wp-image-1059\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kvitkainfo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/kvyti_alokazii.jpg 600w, https:\/\/kvitkainfo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/kvyti_alokazii-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to care for alocasia<\/h2><p><strong>Alocasia is a rather capricious plant<\/strong>, it reacts to uncomfortable growing conditions such as temperature and humidity, watering with cold water.  <\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Light brightness for alocasia<\/h3><p>Alocasia is a light-loving plant, it needs bright light without direct sunlight.  <\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Air temperature for alocasia<\/h3><p>Alocasia is a thermophilic plant, grows well at a temperature of +20\u00b0C, in winter the optimum temperature is +18\u00b0C.<\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Watering and humidity for alocasia<\/h3><figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/kvitkainfo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/alokaziya_sandera.jpg\" alt=\"alokaziya_sandera\" class=\"wp-image-1060\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kvitkainfo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/alokaziya_sandera.jpg 600w, https:\/\/kvitkainfo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/alokaziya_sandera-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure><p><\/p><p>Alocasia is a moisture-loving plant. In the summer, abundant watering is required (up to 3 times a week), in winter, watering is reduced, but the earthen clod should not dry out, but should be slightly moist.
