Sudden fall of healthy leaves (without loss of color, the leaves have not wilted, have not dried out) is most common when the plant suffers shock. Shock in a plant can be caused by a sharp change in temperature(both high and low), a change in lighting in the daytime, or a strong and cold drag. Sudden leaf fall in tree-like houseplants can also be caused by the drying out of the earth. <\/p>

In winter (dormant period) – it is absolutely normal for all plants not to be forced to grow. If the plant does not grow from spring to autumn, the probable cause is a lack of nutrients, i.e. fertilizer, there may also be a cramped pot. <\/p>
